Marinara Sauce

 Tomatoes are good for hypertension, healing wounds and sores faster, combating fatigue in hypoglycemics or those with low blood sugar, and they stimulate the liver. These actions cover many health problems and add quality to your healthy diet.

1 can tomato sauce

2-3 fresh tomatoes, chopped

2-3 cloves garlic

1 cup chopped onions

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon oregano

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

2 teaspoons basil

Celtic salt and pepper to taste

This sauce does not need to be cooked but if you’d like, you can warm it and serve over whole-grain pasta. There is not a better tasting tomato than one that has been home grown. If you do not grow tomatoes yourself, look for organic tomatoes at your supermarket or flea market.
